Video Display

Video Display provides a CPU-rendered preview of the active processed video. It shows processing FPS and displayed FPS separately.

Settings

  • Display Rate: every frame down to every twentieth frame (100%, 50%, 33%, 25%, 20%, 10%, or 5%).
  • Render Mode – Resolution: smoother full-quality scaling.
  • Render Mode – Performance: reduced smoothing for lower CPU use.

Use

Start capture, then open/start Video Display. Reduce the display rate or choose Performance mode when previewing competes with capture or inference.

Video Display is for inspection; changing its display rate does not reduce the underlying capture or processing rate.

To inspect unannotated video, enable Preferences → Other → Video Display → Disable Overlay Drawing. Processing and result production continue, but Helios suppresses script, inference, and OCR drawings until the setting is disabled.
