MF Capture
Use MF Capture for devices exposed through Windows Media Foundation, including many Elgato capture products.

Format Choice
The lists change with the selected device and format. Helios shows only combinations the device reports.
- Start with NV12 for high frame rates or limited USB bandwidth.
- Use YUY2 when the device exposes it reliably and bandwidth is sufficient.
- Use BGR only when the connection can sustain the larger stream.
Use
Select the source and supported settings, start capture, and verify Write FPS. Settings are remembered for the next session.
Troubleshooting
- If the device appears but start fails, close vendor capture software and retry.
- If the image is black, verify the console/source output format and HDCP settings.
- If capture stutters, lower the requested mode or switch from YUY2 to NV12.
