DS Capture
Use DS Capture for capture cards and cameras exposed through Windows DirectShow.
Controls

Format Choice
The lists change with the selected device and format. Helios shows only combinations the device reports.
- BGR: no capture-side color conversion, but needs high device bandwidth.
- YUY2: high-quality 4:2:2 option commonly exposed by capture devices.
- NV12: lower bandwidth and often the best starting point for 120 FPS or higher.
Use

Troubleshooting
- If start fails, try 1080p/60 with NV12, then adjust one setting at a time.
- If the requested format is unavailable, choose one listed by the device rather than relying on its advertised maximum.
- If frames drop, lower FPS or resolution and use a direct USB 3.x port.
